Online workshop - Understanding your mental health (low mood and anxiety)
Held online in small groups, this workshop is designed to introduce you to ways of understanding and improving your mental health.
During the workshop, we will look at:
Introduction to CBT and explaining how our thoughts and behaviours can influence how we think and feel
Goal setting and how we can ensure we have a good balance of difference types of activities within our lives
How (and why) to break activities down into smaller, more manageable chunks in a way that we feel more able to do them
How to manage and limit the impact of worry on our day to day lives
How to manage and tolerate uncertainty
How to turn unproductive worry into helpful problem-solving
Establishing your ‘values’ and what is most important to you within certain activities
Based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Held online in small groups, this workshop can help introduce you to exploring your emotions and how you can make them work for you.
During the session we will look at:
Understanding our emotions
Brain chemistry - and how we can make it work for us
Emotional regulation/emotional dysregulation
Rescue techniques
Coping skills
Based on the principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, the workshop includes elements of mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance.
